Charmed Strings of Pearls
Life
is blessed with charmed strings of pearls.
Each pearl has a one of twenty charms attached to it, and there are
different sequences of charms in the strings.
The
strings are very long. The pearls actually have positive and negative sides,
kind of like magnets. The pearls stick
together when they are dry. The strings are shaped like folds and are sometimes
found in pairs!
The
sequences of charms in the strings helps me to think, run fast, keep warm, and
provide code to make more strings! I
have to make new strings often because sometimes they break.
Many
charms can be made; but some are back in the cafeteria.
When
you heat up the strings, they can break and naturally shrink! Sometimes this is the only way to remove them,
without chemical surgery.
Charmed
strings of pearls are precious. Parents need them to make children. Maybe
someday we will learn how to make all the charms. Then, back in the cafeteria, we can have the
strings we need to be happy.
